⚽️ World Cup Couples🏆

I've been fully enjoying all of the festivities surrounding this '26 World Cup right here in North America. I live near Koreatown which has everything you could ever need, including a high number of sports bars per capita (at least compared w the rest of LA). So I grabbed my camera(s) and joined the throngs of fans packing bars and outdoor watch parties. Mexico v South Korea was wild, I've never seen that much energy on Western Blvd.

I decided to bike down to Sofi stadium yesterday before the Canada v South Africa match, but that crowd seemed very subdued after the vibes in K-Town that I've seen over the past couple weeks. And one of my favorite things was seeing couples all decked out in their soccer kits, especially when they were supporting different teams. Here are some of my favorite shots so far, and I'll add more if I take additional pics during the knockout rounds:

I wish South Korea had made it past the group stage, if only for more civic gatherings like this in K-Town. It was such a great atmosphere for the game, complete with announcers, drummers, cheerleaders and christian rappers. It truly had it all, aside from a victory for the Red Devils.
